Conditions of Hire

1. A non-refundable booking deposit of 25% of total cost or €100 (which ever is the greater) must be paid to reserve accommodation.  The balance of payment is payable 6 weeks before arrival.  A confirmation will be issued upon receipt of deposit, and final directions and instructions regarding the home will be sent on receipt of final payment.  Failure to pay invoice by due date may result in loss of booking.
2. A BOOKING FORM must be completed and signed by the person responsible for the reservation.
3. A SECURITY DEPOSIT of €100 must be given to the Supervisor on arrival.  This is refundable, less electricity and gas charge, provided no damage has been done and the house has been left in a good and clean condition.
4. OCCUPATION is from 4.30 p.m. on starting day of hire.
5. DEPARTURE TIME is 10a.m. on day of departure.
6. CANCELLATION - if received in writing 21 days prior to date of commencement of hire period, deposit will be refunded.  If cancellation received less than 21 days prior to commencement of hire period no refund will be made. 
7. NO REFUND will be made if a hirer is requested to leave a holiday home, or leaves of their own accord before the expiration of the booking.
8. The Supervisor or any officer may at all reasonable times visit the home during the stay or on departure.
9. RECEPTION will remain open until 8p.m. on Saturdays.  Should guests find that they are unable to reach SEASCAPES before 8p.m in their own interests they should telephone 055 25121 or 086 8295705 so that arrangements can be made for the collection of the key for their home.  Failure to notify reception of late arrival could result in loss of reservation.
10. NUMBER OF PERSONS allowed in the home is as noted on the booking form.
11. COTS AND HIGH CHAIRS must be booked in advance, cot linen is not supplied.
12. MINORS - BOOKINGS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FROM PARTIES UNDER 18 YEARS.
13. BOOKINGS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FROM ALL YOUNG MALE AND/OR ALL YOUNG FEMALE PARTIES.
14. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
15. OWNERS RIGHTS - the management reserves the right to refuse to hand over a home to any person who, in the opinion of the management, is not suitable to take charge.  The management reserve the right to terminate rental with no refund, at their discretion, if occupiers behave in a disruptive manner, cause a nuisance or disturbance, cause damage to the property or in any other circumstance deemed reasonable.
16. HIRERS RESPONSIBILITY - the hirer is responsible for the home and is expected to take all reasonable care of it.  The hirer also undertakes to report and pay for any damage to the home or any equipment lost, damaged, broken or stolen.  Unsuitable substitutes are not acceptable.  The home equipment and all utensils must be left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the hire period or an appropriate deduction will be made from the deposit.
17. LINEN - bedroom linen is supplied.
18. ELECTRICITY & GAS is metered and the cost payable by the hirer to the management prior to departure.
19. SERVICE - the hirer is asked to notify the management immediately of any shortcoming in the home so that it can be remedied.  No claim can be considered for shortcomings not so notified.
20. IMPORTANT - it is an express condition of this booking that the management is relieved of liability for any accident, loss or damage which may be sustained by the patrons or their property whether such loss or damage is caused by the negligence of the management, its servants or agents or otherwise.
21.  In the unlikely event of a complaint this must be made to the management immediately.
22. Three-bedroom houses will accommodate 5 people and four-bedroom houses will accommodate 6 people. These are the maximum number of people allowed in the house at any one time.
